Job Description

As an Assistant – AI Specialist in Deloitte’s Valuation and Analytics Advisory team, you will support engagement teams in evaluating the use of artificial intelligence across financial reporting and enterprise business processes.

The role focuses on understanding AI systems, assessing model reliability and performance, identifying governance gaps, and supporting audit procedures related to AI-driven processes. You will also help prepare reports, maturity assessments, and other client deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and document how organizations use AI systems, including intelligent automation, AI agents, and agentic systems.
• Assist in evaluating AI model complexity, reliability, performance, and changes over time.
• Support assessments of AI governance frameworks, risk management practices, and internal controls.
• Help prepare assessment reports, maturity scorecards, and recommendations for addressing governance gaps.
• Assist with audit responses and control testing for AI-related risks.
• Support the evaluation of data inputs, model outputs, and AI-driven financial processes.
• Collaborate with client teams, including IT, risk, and business process stakeholders.
• Prepare analysis and supporting materials for client discussions and project updates.
• Communicate AI and machine learning concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders.

• Stay updated on AI developments and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing activities.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in this opportunity should meet the following requirements:

• Experience: 0–1 year of professional experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related discipline.
